“Friendly…in a creepy way.” June 4, 2009

Posted by William J. Meyer in Jack's Festivals & Screenings.

The Film 101 crew came out to the Orpheum Stage Door premiere last month, and they were kind enough to review The House That Jack Built in episode ten of their podcast. We bat third following Terminator: Salvation and the new Star Trek. :)

Characterizing the short as “dark folklore,” the crew cites the film’s “impressive sound design” and say the mask/prosthetic created by Matt Knudsen is “absolutely frightening.” I had to chuckle when they described Jack (Christopher Karbo) as “friendly…in a creepy way.” :)
