As briefly mentioned in an earlier post, I had an eleventh-hour idea to change the first scene into a main title sequence.

I created the sequence using original footage shot by Jeff Lyon, public domain films and music from the Prelinger Archives, and public domain illustrations from the National Library of Medicine. I composited the various elements in After Effects.

The little boy’s voice is my 4 1/2 year-old nephew Rain. Give it up!

You can see a larger version on Vimeo.

I hope you dig it!
